I've started my car search now, and I found a burgundy 1994 300zx at a local dealership. It has 91k original miles, automatic, and had only 1 owner. It came from Arizona and is rust free. The body is flawless, and there are no scratches anywhere on the paint. Basically, the exterior is practically immaculate. However, there are some issues. Here is what the dealership found that needed to be fixed: - Front tires cupped - Rear shocks need to be replaced - Brake hydraulic system needs to be flushed, as it is low and contaminated - Power steering pump is leaking - A/C belt needs to be replaced I also noticed that the idle is uneven, and it dips every 6 or so seconds. I am a little bit suspicious, as there is nothing on the problems list that indicates what the cause of the uneven idle may be. Also, I am a little suspicious, as the dealer claims that they bought it before they inspected it, and that they only found the problems after they had bought it. That seems like a dumb way to operate a business. Now they just want to get rid of it, and are considering a whole sale. Is it worth it? I plan to take it to a local mechanic specializing in 300zx's, but repair cost estimates would also be appreciated. Thanks for reading!
